Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) carefully before using the website or engaging with the services provided by The Wisebook Services (“The Wisebook”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing our website or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of the terms, you may not access our website or use our services.

1. Our Services

The Wisebook offers professional business services including (but not limited to) tax preparation and filing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, business entity formation and management, and public notary services.

Our services are primarily provided through virtual consultations, email correspondence, and phone calls. Face-to-face consultations may be arranged upon request and subject to availability. Use of our website is for informational purposes only and does not create a client relationship until we formally agree to work together via a signed agreement or written confirmation (such as email consent).

2. Client Responsibilities

To deliver our services effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, timely, and complete information, documentation, and responses

  • Review all filings, reports, and returns we prepare prior to submission

  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your business or financial information

  • Use secure channels (as advised by us) when submitting sensitive documents

The Wisebook is not responsible for delays, penalties, or errors that result from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information provided by the client.

3. Communication and Delivery of Services

You agree to receive communications from us via the contact methods you provide, including email, phone, or text message. Most services are delivered remotely through secure digital platforms and cloud-based systems. Face-to-face meetings may be scheduled by prior arrangement.

We may also use third-party service providers (e.g., client portals, e-signature software, scheduling platforms) to facilitate our work. All such tools are selected with confidentiality and data security in mind.

4. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to ensure accuracy and compliance in all services provided, The Wisebook is not liable for:

  • Penalties, interest, or losses resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information provided by the client

  • Delays caused by third-party systems (e.g., IRS, payroll providers, state agencies)

  • Technical issues or service interruptions beyond our control

In no case shall The Wisebook, its employees, or its representatives be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

5. Fees and Payments

Fees for services will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before any work begins. Invoices are typically due upon receipt unless otherwise specified.

Failure to make timely payment may result in a delay, suspension, or termination of services. Clients are responsible for applicable transaction fees or taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of your personal and business information. All materials shared with us during the course of service will remain confidential and used only for the purposes of providing those services, unless disclosure is required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and documentation provided on our website or during service delivery—including but not limited to logos, written content, guides, and templates—are the intellectual property of The Wisebook unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reuse, distribute, or modify these materials without our express written permission.

8. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, clients are responsible for payment of services rendered up to the effective termination date.

We reserve the right to withdraw from any engagement under circumstances such as:

  • Failure to provide necessary communication or documentation

  • Conflict of interest

  • Breach of these Terms or any applicable engagement agreement

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Revisions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
